Roof Moss Removal: Right Way and Wrong Way
Moss removal attracts more bad practice than almost any other roofing job. The right method is straightforward and effective. The wrong method — still widely used — causes serious roof damage that isn't immediately apparent.
The appeal of high-pressure washing is obvious: dramatic visual result in a short time. The problem is what happens to the roof during the process — and in the years that follow.
Why High-Pressure Washing Damages Roofs
